Urmila Matondkar performed an item number in Raj Kumar Santoshi film. After receiving good response for the song Chamma Chamma in China Gate, the director again planned an item number in his next movie Lajja.
Aaiye Aa Jaaiya is the song in Lajja in which Urmila appeared as a bold girl. Unlike other item songs, the director added a little scene before this song for the item girl (Urmila Matondkar). According to the story Jackie Shroff invites his friends to a party. Urmila comes into the party with one of his friends.
The song is shot in a lavish party set. It was supposed to be sent in New York. Urmila also features as one of the U.S residents. Her costumes are pretty good and many models danced behind her. Her dance is completely different compared with Chamma chamma.
This song was composed by Anu Malik in western style. Camera work is very good from Madhu Ambat. He changed his camera colour modes according to her clothes or it was the other way around.
